Segons la teoria de David. P. AUSUBEL l’aprenentatge significatiu d’un concepte es basa en la capacitat de relacionar la nova informació amb algun element ja existent de l’estructura cognitiva de la persona. Aquests nous coneixements s’adquireixen de forma gradual, a diferents nivells de comprensió i de forma qualitativament diferent.

According to the theory of David. P. Ausubel, learning a meaningful concept is based on the ability to relate new information with elements of existing cognitive structures of the individual. This new knowledge is acquired gradually, at different levels of understanding and in a qualitatively different way.

Sovint la primera reacció per aprendre un nou concepte és la comparació amb un de similar. L’analisi d’ambdues imatges es pot fer per contrast o per convergència tot i que sempre tendim a buscar les diferències, és en trobar les semblànces quan acabem de fixar el concepte.

Often the first reaction to learning a new concept is to compare it to a similar one. Analysis of both images can be done to contrast or converge, although we tend to look for differences. Finding similarities helps to fix the concept.

“路地” o carrer són conceptes urbànistics d’origen històrico-cultural completament differents. Aquest fet també influeix en la seva morfologia i està directament relacionat amb la forma de la ciutat i el concepte de l’espai públic com es pot veure en la imatge superior. Tot i això durant el seminari sobre “路地” el treball ha estat més dirigit cap a la definició de les característiques sensorials d’aquest espai i aquestes si que poden coincidir amb el concepte de carrer.

"路地", or street, which have different historical and cultural origins are both urban concepts, but are completely different. This also affects their morphology which is directly related to the city shape and the concept of public space as you can see in the picture above. However, during the seminar on "Rojí", work was directed towards defining the sensory characteristics of that space which can be similar to the street concept.

Aquesta cançó escrita en 1970 parla dels sentiments de l’autor en la seva infància i adolescència en una Barcelona dels anys 40. Una Barcelona de post-guerra on en núclis urbans com Poble-sec  la gent vivia en comunitat com si es tractés d’un poble tot i ser ciutat.

This song was written in 1970 and speaks about the feelings of the author during his childhood and adolescence in Barcelona 40 years ago. In post-war Barcelona people lived in urban areas like Poble Sec as a village community, even though they were part of the city.

“El meu carrer” és un record d’infantesa i alhora és una descripció sensorial del món físic que el rodeja. Si no ens centrem exclusivament en les característiques dimensionals, la descripció física i ambiental del carrer on vivia l’autor ens pot transmetre la sensació de caminar per un “路地”. Tots dos espais urbans no estan estrictament planificats, són una succeció de fets, d’objectes quotidians i de textures diferents. Tot i no ser gaire lluminosos permetent la sosciabilització dels veins i el joc dels nens. Són espais de vida on s’acumulen plantes, bicicletes, cadires.... espais amb els que t’identifiques perquè vius, descobreixes i creixes.

"My Street" is a childhood memory and  also a sensory description of the physical world that surrounded him. If we do not focus exclusively on the dimensional characteristics and the environmental and physical street description of where he lived,  we can almost get the feeling of walking in a "Rojí." Neither urban area is strictly planned, they are simply a succession of facts, everyday objects and different textures. Despite not having much light they allow the socialisation of neighbours and childrens play is possible. They are living spaces with an accumulation of plants, bicycles, chairs .... spaces that you can identify with because you're living , discovering and growing.
